Week 5 Overview
Guiding Question: What are the roles, needs, and values within families around the world?
Throughout this week students will have the opportunity to research different families from around the world. Books about this topic will be provided by the teacher for students to read through and take notes on. There will be prompted questions to help students answer the guiding question of the week.
Formative Assessment:
In groups, students will use books and other credible resources to research different families from different places and present an example of their findings to the class. Some places that could be researched are: Russia, South Korea, Germany, France, Iceland, another US State, Egypt (a country in Africa), New Zealand, Thailand, Chile or Japan.
